The Department of Trade and Industry – Bohol Provincial Office will celebrate, once again, the Consumer Welfare Month Celebration on October, and one of the highlights will be a fun run.
This year’s celebration banners the theme “Consumer Rights in the Digital Age.”
To kick off the month-long celebration, DTI-Bohol in cooperation with the Consumer Watch-Bohol, Inc. and the Alturas Group of Companies will conduct the Consumer Fun Run 2017 in Tagbilaran City.
The activity is expected to be participatedin by students, employees of some government offices and members of civic groups to promote consumer empowerment and cooperate with various stakeholders to ensure that consumers are well educated and protected.
The Consumer Fun Run 2017 will take its course on October 1at 5:00 a.m. at the Island City Mall grounds as its starting point and then proceeds to J.A. Clarin Street enroute to the vicinity of the Philippine National Bank, turning back to Island City Mall where the culmination program will be made.
Prizes are at stake to three lucky winners for both Male and Female category who will receive the amount of P2,000.00, P1,500.00 and P1,000.00 each for first, second and third places, respectively.
Interested participants are requested to secure its entry form and submit same to Mc Nathaniel “Mack” Boncales and or Leslie Paglinawan at the DTI-Bohol Office, located at the 2nd, floor, FCB Bldg., CPG Avenue, Tagbilaran City.
The entry forms are available starting September 18. Deadline for the submission of entry is on September 28.
DTI-Bohol office will be giving free singlet for the first two hundred registrants on a first come, first serve basis.
